The Kings 25A DCDC Charger has a built in high-efficiency MPPT Solar Regulator that will track the maximum power point of a connected solar panel, so long as it has a minimum of 15W input. So you know you’re getting the most charge out of your panel no matter the conditions.

With a specially programmed charge pattern specific to 12V Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, plus the ability to easily switch to standard 12V lead acid, AGM, Gel or Calcium batteries with the press of a button, the Adventure Kings DCDC will work with just about any setup - and is easy to adapt to your future setups too!

The Kings DC Charger also has an automatic lithium ‘wake’ feature where it will attempt to wake up or ‘jump start’ a lithium battery where the BMS has disconnected due to low voltage.

Connecting your DCDC charger has never been easier - simply connect up the input from your starter battery, the output to your auxiliary battery and then connect solar panel in seconds all thanks to the quick connect plugs. The 25A Charger along with a Kings 50A Wiring Kit is the perfect combo for an easy plug and play install!

The Kings DCDC Charger has built in high-efficiency MPPT Solar Regulator that will track the maximum power point of a connected solar panel, so long as it has a minimum of 15W input. So you know you’re getting the most charge out of your panel no matter the conditions.

If, for example, you're driving at night and there is no solar input, the charger will pull only from your alternator.

When you stop at camp and turn off your vehicle, the DCDC will automatically swap over to solar charging.

If you're driving in the sun with both alternator and solar input, the DCDC will automatically prioritise solar input once it reaches the changeover threshold of 200W of solar power input.

IP66 DUST + WATERPROOF RATING

A tough alloy housing means it is able to survive harsh conditions and continues to perform even in extreme temperatures. The Kings DCDC offers a 5-stage automatic current derating system that reduces power to protect the unit in extreme conditions. The internals are IP66 rated for excellent environmental protection thanks to the fully silicon potted circuit board.

The integrated heat sink offers excellent passive cooling plus the Kings DC-DC charger is properly protected against reverse polarity, under or over voltage, as well as over temperature.

PRECISE CHARGING IN ANY CONDITIONS

Adventure Kings DCDC Chargers can output their stated 25 Amps of charge even in extremely hot ambient temperatures of up to 50°C and internal temperatures around 80°C. There’s an internal temperature sensor that monitors the circuit board and electronics to protect and regulate the output of the automatic 5-stage current derating - plus there's the 2m long temp sensor with ring terminal, designed to mount to your battery for highly accurate charge compensation.
