This is a particularly nice MINT 165 year old example of the Queen Victoria 6d Bright Blue issue of 1858. The stamp despite its age is clean and fresh looking and quite well centred. Due to the stamps being kept in storage longer than they should, when they were rouletted and issued, the gum was in poor condition so the vast majority of stamps on the market today have no gum. There is evidence that this item has been hinged at some point. SG Cat Price in 2013 was £400 circa A$700. (I notice there is one stamp dealer who is asking $650 for a this same item)!
