Some faint spotting and minor, small staining. The right margin lacking. Verso: blank. Note: in a very nice contemporary handcolouring. With the original piece of tissue paper and a printed biography on 10 pages (the tissue paper with a slightly ragged lower edge). Note: dimensions reflect the entire leaf. Dimensions: 264 x 172 mm. Armand Jean le Bouthillier de Rance was Abbot, Founder of the Trappists, Second son of Denis Bouthillier Lord of Rance and Councillor of State, Deputy of the second order to the General Assembly of the French Clergy, and First Almoner to Gaston Duke of Orleans.
