From my grandfathers estate.

My grandfather was a surgeon onboard an LST (Landing Ship Tank) off of Iwo Jima.  He met Joe Rosenthal onboard that ship. 

This photo is signed on the negative at lower left. 

This is NOT a modern reprint - this is a WW2 era photo - probably from the time the two were onboard together
