This is a rare March 1938 programme (playbill) with an advertising insert from the French revival of the JULES ROMAINS play "KNOCK" (or "The Triumph of Medicine" at the Athenee Theatre Louis Jouvet in Paris, France. (The production premiered on December 15th, 1923 at the Theatre des Champs-Elysees in Paris. This revival opened January 18th, 1938.) ..... The play starred LOUIS JOUVET as "Dr. Knock" and the cast included ROMAIN BOUQUET, Mlle.
