Premonition was released in 1988. The scent is synthetic-oriental.

Premonition was Mary Kay's "version" of Madame Rochas,Chanel No. 5, Calèche, First, Rive Gauche, Must... (this category was extremely popular); a very, very feminine floral Aldehyde with lots of powdery woods and vanilla. It was a very sexy fragrance and it smelled much more expensive than it was, relative to the times.

From my partial bottle, I experience 'Premonition' as akin to heavy, cool-weather, woody-orientals such as CK 'Obsession', ET 'Passion', Moschino... Labdanum, vanilla, smoky woods, musk, civet, touch of patch, benzoin, opopanax... over this, a light, indolic and powdery floral blend of jasmine, mimosa, rose, violet, ionones... only a trace of aldehydes and bergamot peel. Evening fragrance. Actually, quite lovely.
