Vintage Original 1945 Empire State Building New York City Manhattan Plane Crash B-25 Rare Original Photos – 9 Photographs

Photos illustrate the damage to the interior of the building.

Two of the photos have writing on the reverse side, and one of those is dated, “Aug 2, 1945.”

Some photos have printed captions on the front side, as well as the date, August 14, 1945.  Captions read: “Empire State Bldg. 67 – Car at 80th Floor – Operating Mechanism Destroyed by Fire,” “Empire State Bldg – 2 – Pit at 78th Floor,” “Empire State Bldg – Car G6 – Car in Pit,” “Empire State Bldg – G6 – Rear of Shaft at Sub-Basement CWT – To Show CWT,” “Empire State Bldg – Car G7 – Car at 80th Floor,” and “Empire State Bldg – G7 – View at 78th Floor.”

Photos measure approximately 8” x 10”.

These photos are in vintage condition with bowing, discoloration, creasing, marks and other wear from age, handling and storage.  There is also edge tearing.  Some photos have heavier creasing and discoloration.
