At the age of one and a half, he contracted polio and was confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. When she grows up, she shows her talent as a seamstress. Little did she know that she would be laying the foundation for a world-famous company. An elegant teddy bear was created to celebrate Margarete Steiff's 175th birthday. A double ribbon around the neck and a cameo inspired by the 1897 logo.
