This is a rare August 22nd, 1949 programme (playbill) from the two-week, Provincial Tour engagement of the JOHANN STRAUSS Love Story of Music "WALTZES FROM VIENNA" at the Hippodrome Theatre in Coventry, England. (The production premiered on October 30th, 1930 at the Stadttheater in Vienna, Austria. The Original West End production opened August 17th, 1931 at the Alhambra Theatre in London and ran for 607 performances. The Original Broadway production, with the title changed to "The Great Waltz", opened September 22nd, 1934 at New York's Center Theatre and closed June 8th, 1935 after 298 performances.) .....
