BROKEN POWER ROD BOX(no problem) JUST ADD THIS BRACKET AND YOUR BROKEN BOX BECOMES REUSEABLE. BOX NOT BROKEN ADD THIS BRACKET AND IT WILL NEVER BREAK.
THIS NEWLY DESIGNED POWER ROD BOX SUPPORT BRACKET WILL COMPLETELY ELIMINATE ANY AND ALL VERTICAL, HORIZONTAL, AND ALL ROTATIONAL STRESSING FORCES ON YOUR POWER ROD BOX WHEN IN USE.
!!YOU WILL "NEVER" HAVE(or have to) REPLACE A CRACKED POWER ROD BOX AGAIN!!
CONTENTS: (1) METAL BRACKET...(4) #8 X 3/4" SCREWS.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Remove the 4 screws that secures the rod box to your machine and remove the rod box. 2. Lay the rod box on its side and remove the 30lb and first set of 10lb power rod securing screws. 3. Attach the SUPPORT BRACKET to the power rod box using the (4) #8 X 3/4" screws(used to secure the Bracket to the rod box and re-lock the 30's and 10's back in the power rod box(Tighten securely). 4. Loosen the top Vertical Frame mounting bolt just enough for the so the the SLOT on the bottom of the Support Bracket can slide between and over the bolt that secures the Vertical Main Frame to the U-Bar. 5. Reinstall the power rod box on the machine making sure that the slot on the Support Bracket is between the Vertical Main Frame and the U-bar. 6. Securely re-tighten the Vertical Main Frame bolt and re-install the (4) screws that holds the rod box to the vertical main frame. If your machine has a Tower just loosen the screw on the front of the tower bracket just enough so that the support bracket can fit between the wing nutted bolt photo)and the tower. (see photo). Securely tighten all bolts and screws.
