This is one original plate from a collection of 141 plates........each plate identified with the artist's name, J.W.Hill, printed by Endicott, NY and individual plate number. This is from one volume of 300 hand colored volumes published.
Size of plate 11 3/8" x 9", and is clean and strong. Gum arabic has been applied in prominent areas of the birds. The images are much clearer, more colorful and more precise than listings' photos show. ( I have purchased a new camera since taking these photos!) You should be pleased with them when you see them in person.
