Listing for a 1996 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament featuring the iconic Statue of Liberty. This is a magic ornament that plays music and lights up. When plugged into a light string with 3.5 or 6 volt bulbs (not blinking or LED) the torch and the crown of Liberty lights up. To hear the first stanza of "The Star Spangled Banner" press the button under the base of the ornament. Designed by Hallmark artist Ed Seale. It is 6 1/2 inches tall. While intended as a Christmas ornament she would make a great display any time and particularly on July 4th.
The box has some storage scuff on in and a scratch on one side (probably when the store opened the box). The ornament is mint and works well (see video). All original packaging and price tag intact. I do not remove an ornament from the factory plastic wrap when I know an ornament is new, so the plastic wrap may need dusting.
From my mom's massive Hallmark ornament collection, she bought multiples but displayed very few. There are 50 tubs to sort and list. Thank you for checking it out.
