Antique Mid-19th Century c1840’s-1850’s Italian Grand Tour Bronze Urn
This is an antique mid-19th century c1840’s-1850’s Italian grand tour bronze urn. This is truly beautiful and a true testament to the artist that created it. The urn has a square smooth base which highlights the leaf style pattern detail that sits on the base. It has a fine neck leading to the feather detail of each of the steam on the wider part of the urn. They appear to fold over showing more fine detail. It has 2 stunning arms that are in a "S" shape connecting to the top and bottom. There are small holes on the inside as well as the bottom of the urn. It shows signs of historical repairs where the arms meet the rim, this is no one detracts from the beauty of the item.This really is stunning and would look perfect in any room, the perfect gift for yourself or a friend or relative. It is in excellent condition despite the repairs.
