These are Antique Shop Scales with Full Set of Weights 50g-500g By W&T Avery Birmingham. These are in excellent condition and are in full working order. The scales frame is made from metal on a coated wooden base. The pans are removable for easy use and cleaning, they are made from chrome and are in excellent condition. The pans are two different sizes, one for weights and one for what you are weighing. The hanging rod which supports the pans is also removable at the hook point. The arm is metal with a black colouring. The metal arm is marked: W&T AVERY LIMITED, BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND, TO WEIGH 2LB. The scales have a balance pin in the centre of the arms which is intact and is in excellent condition. This set of scales comes complete with a 5 piece weight set, including 1x500g, 2x200g, 1x100g and 1x50g. The weights come in a wooden base, which has cut out indents to keep the weights in place. The scales have acquired a very mild patina, which enhances the appearance of the scales.
