A large & possibly unique variation of brass R A 42 (Remington Arms 50cal) WW2 trench lighter, with great original patina.
The lighter is working but the wheel was very corroded, it spins freely now when the flint & spring are out, but due to the damage left by the corrosion it's quite awkward to use when they are in. The wheel could be replaced "with a little knowhow" but then it wouldn't be 100% original, so I have left it as is
