Recommended usage level: 0.05-2%. At 3% the hyaluronic acid will form a thick clear gel.

Original material: Bacterial fermentation using glucose that is derived from corn to create hyaluronic acid in a bio-fermentation process. The product is classified as natural and used in natural and organic cosmetic manufacturing.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry place.

This is a high-weight Hyaluronic Acid, coming in at 1.0 – 1.5 million daltons. Our hyaluronic acid is made by the bacterial fermentation of plant matter (generally using a ferment culture which may include wheat peptones, and yeast, as well as glucose derived from corn). The hyaluronic acid will not contain any plant-derived DNA. It is considered vegan and non-GMO.

Skin penetration note:  Hyaluronic acid is a large molecule whether it is high or low molecular weight and can't be absorbed deep into the skin. It keeps the skin hydrated and supple due to its excellent water retention ability. Hyaluronic acid can also help in delivering actives through the skin as it acts like an osmotic pump.
