This quilt was purchased at an antique shop in Springfield Oregon.  It is dated 1891 and has hand stitched on it 'Good Samriton Hospital' and the names 'Mrs Ella Whitcomb and Mrs Shepperd'.  The colors, fabric and stitching throughout the quilt vary.  It is hand tied and the backing is in good shape.
