This unusual little hand turned wood  bottle is 7 3/8 inches high, 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom and about 1 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest point. The wood has a light spot on one side that's roughly heart shaped, and some attractive graining and  small knots. The tall lid looks like an elaborate minaret. There is a small nick on the round closed to the bottom of the lid, and a small scratch at the very top. The hole on the bottom where the lathe was centered has broken through the bottom of the bottle. A pretty decorative piece that would also house a small glass vial of perfume.
