Here today is a sweet 14k yellow gold "minimalist" diamond engagement, "pre-engagement" or promise / friendship ring. Or I could see this being stacked with other rings as well!

The mounting has split bypass shoulders which rise to meet the center, where a 2.97mm (about .10 ct) bright sparkling natural diamond is set in a 6-prong white gold head. Although not huge, it is a very nice quality diamond, graded as G color and SI1 clarity, by our experienced estate jeweler.

The head sits up 1/4" off the hand. The ring is hallmarked 14k with a maker's mark FRCO (a Canadian bridal jewelry company), with the crisp, clear hallmarks showing little wear. This diamond ring is a size 9 and weighs 2 grams. It can be sized by any competent jeweler. It's in very good pre-owned condition.
