2PC Floating Aquarium Cone Live Food Feeder | for Bloodworm, Daphnia, White Worm

**BRAND NEW DESIGN - All new, specifically designed with live and frozen worm feeds in particular, these feeders make feeding live and frozen much faster and easier whilst also minimizing waste food! Also included is the floating feeder purposely designed for general live/frozen feeds like Daphnia, Brine Shrimp and Cyclops etc!**

Product Information

Are you tired of thawing out frozen cubes or preparing live food for your fish then having to hand feed with a pipette / syringe? Or do you simply throw an entire or half a frozen cube in, or the entire live feed at once, allowing waste to collect in nooks and crannies you may miss until your next scheduled maintenance?

These feeders are much unlike the cheaper variants that have been readily available for years, these have been designed with the faults of those feeders in mind. To name a few changes, slightly wider slits have been added to ensure fish can easily grab a snack and to ensure worms/feed will protrude from the feeder to encourage feeding, as well as increased wall thicknesses for durability and to ensure buoyancy.

Well look no further! Our floating cone feeders are specifically designed to let you simply add frozen or live feeds into, then you can leave them alone and let nature take course. These feeders are completely buoyant, but please be mindful when first adding them as a strong flow might knock them upside down until they find their balance - best to find a location where your filtration is not flowing as heavily, to ensure the feeder remains stable during feeding times. It is great at keeping food trapped within to make for easier tank maintenance and reducing waste food from fully immersing itself in your aquarium as it would with traditional methods.

Two feeders included with each purchase, one is specifically catered to worm feeds and really helps present worm style feeds to the fish, as the cube thaws the worms will drop into the cone, some feed will naturally disperse and fall down over time but you will most likely find your fish will have came and grabbed the bulk of their food from the feeder before that happens!

It is very enjoyable to watch your fish when using these feeders - makes for great photo and video opportunities of your prized or rare species.

- Self buoyant/floating, no need for anchor pins or suction cups.
- No need to babysit feeds, sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
- One feeder for general feeds, one feeder dedicated to worm based feeds.
- Colour choices available on drop-down menu.

- 1 x Floating Live / Frozen Feeder (Rounded Shape with Holes)

Material & Manufacturing Information

All materials used are sourced from within the UK and are handpicked to ensure they are safe for use and exposure in aquariums. All material used to produce these feeders has FDA approval, is clear of any additives or toxins that may harm anything inside your aquarium, it also will not break down and degrade over time.

Please note due to the production process that small layer lines will be present on the plastic, this is nothing to worry about however it may be beneficial to periodically remove the feeder from your aquarium and give it a rinse, as the layer lines are a great source for algae to grow and thrive on if you are going for the ultra clean aquascape look!

Product Use Information

Very simple and effective, simply add the feeder to a spot you want to in your aquarium. It is best to check first and ensure the feeder is stable in your area of choice - if you have a high flow system it may be wise to avoid near your outflow or the highest flowing areas as the feeder may topple and spill over whilst it re-floats itself.

Add your feed of choice and let nature take course. The feeders are designed to disperse the feed naturally but if you want to speed things up you can always disturb the feeder by giving it a slight nudge/tap with your finger. We like to use leftover spoons from bottles of flake feed if we are in this predicament.

If you feel your fish have been fed enough or you may have slightly overfed, simply remove the feeder and what remains from your aquarium and the mess in the actual footprint of your aquarium should be somewhat minimal in comparison to a traditional feed with a syringe/pipette, or simply throwing a bag/cube of live in.

Please exercise responsibility when feeding - ensure your stock levels and filtration reflect what you are putting in and remember too little is always better than too much, you can always feed more later on if needed!
