Since the 1940's, this crazy, zany, red-headed bird has been one of the most unique and well known characters to emerge from the world of animated cartoons. Everybody knows Woody Woodpecker and his unmistakable laugh!

This limited edition cel is one of five images from the "Woody Woodpecker Profession Series". This scene features Woody Woodpecker as a Doctor, aided by nurse Winnie Woodpecker. The patient is Smedley, the dog.

The cel is hand-painted. The lines of the image have been reproduced by silk-screening. The cel is complemented by a lithographic background reproduced on acid-free paper. Each cel is accompanied by certificate of authenticity as well as a specially designed gold seal, heat pressed on each piece to signify it as an official work of art by MCA/Universal Animation Art.
