A 1/48 scale finished product model of Spike Spiegel's beloved machine "Swordfish II" from the TV anime "Cowboy Bebop" will be resold. Under the supervision of mechanical designer Kimitoshi Yamane, this is a full-spec memorial model that fully reproduces the appeal of the aircraft form, gimmicks, aging treatment, and Swordfish II. Size... Total length about 36 cm, total width about 30 cm. Reproduction of each gimmick: main wing folding, landing gear retraction/deployment, aileron rotation, plasma cannon rotation/extension, engine air brake opening/closing, cockpit unit attachment/detachment, canopy opening/closing, passenger figure included, special pedestal included. The maintenance hatch deployment state can be reproduced by replacement. The material is ABS, and some alloy parts are used, including the landing gear. Surface treatment such as characteristic aircraft damage and dirt is also reproduced. Built-in LED, light and engine nozzle emit light (LR44 battery x 3 included for testing).
