Description: This print originates from the 11th edition of the Kurfursten Bible (the Luther translation "Biblia, Das isst: die Gantze Heilige Schrift" published by Endters in Nurnberg, from 1641 onwards), published in 1708.
Artists and Engravers: Engraved by Philipp Kilian after Johann Jacob von Sandrart. Philipp Kilian (Augsburg 1628-1693) was a German Baroque engraver. Johann Jacob von Sandrart (1655-1698) was the son of Jacob von Sandrart, an engraver, art dealer and publisher from Nurnberg.

Subject: Antique portrait print. It shows a full-length portrait of an unidentified 17th century German nobleman, in armer, and holding a baton, the caot of arms left of him.
Condition: Poor, cropped to the image edge and mounted on carrier sheet. The lower right corner of the image damaged. The carrier sheet stained and creased. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
