Here is a vintage Boyd's Genuine Porcelain Lined Cap canning jar lid insert.   It measures about 2 1/2 inches in diameter and features a Maltese style cross in the center and the labeling around the outside of the rim: Boyd's Genuine Porcelain Lined Cap.
