The twisted lower ring allows for a neat connection of the daisy chain to the harness.
NOTE. Be careful never to connect two rings of the daisy chain to a single carabiner: if the seam between the rings should give way (it has a load resistance of only 3 kN) the carabiner would come out. The load resistance of 22 kN applies only to the main seam.
