10.2. Manufacturer's warranty for exhaust manifolds, downpipes and repair pipes from the manufacturer LRT Automotive GmbH
The manufacturer LRT Automotive GmbH grants a manufacturer's guarantee of 2 years with unlimited kilometers from the date of installation for the function and service life of the exhaust manifold, Y-pipe and repair pipe, provided that the vehicle has been correctly installed and the engine settings have been correctly adjusted.
For the warranty conditions, the exhaust manifold, Y-pipe and repair pipe must be verifiably installed by a specialist workshop using the assembly parts included in the scope of delivery. The invoice from the specialist workshop serves as proof of the installation date. The territorial scope of the warranty claim is Germany, whereby the period for calculating the warranty period begins on the date of installation.
The guarantee relates to the advertised product being free from defects, including functionality, material and production defects.
Warranty claims are excluded if changes were made to the exhaust manifold, Y-pipe or repair pipe during installation, if fuel not approved by the vehicle manufacturer was used or mechanical violence is found. Likewise, there is no right to a guarantee if the installation was carried out improperly and not by a specialist workshop.
A prerequisite for claiming the guarantee is that the guarantor (manufacturer) is able to check the guarantee case in detail (e.g. by sending in the goods). Care must be taken to ensure that any damage to the goods on the transport route to the manufacturer is prevented by safe packaging. A copy of the invoice must be enclosed with the consignment so that the guarantor can check whether the guarantee period has been complied with. Without a copy of the invoice, the guarantor can refuse the guarantee service. In the case of justified warranty claims, you will not incur any shipping costs, ie the guarantor will reimburse any shipping costs incurred.
The vehicle owner's warranty claims against the workshop that installed the exhaust manifold, downpipe and repair pipe or the parts dealer from whom the vehicle owner obtained the exhaust manifold, downpipe and repair pipe are not restricted by this warranty statement.
If the product is defective, you can always contact us as a dealer within the framework of the statutory warranty. Regardless of whether there is a guarantee case or whether the guarantee is claimed.
This manufacturer's guarantee does not limit your legal rights against us arising from the purchase contract concluded with us. Any existing statutory warranty rights against us remain unaffected by this guarantee promise. The manufacturer's warranty therefore does not infringe your legal rights, but rather extends your legal status.
