  • This film is 3rd in the Mighty Ducks Trilogy. A year after the first filsm theatrical release, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the National Hockey League (NHL) was founded in 1993. Over a decade later in 2005 Disney sold the NHL team and they were renamed the Anaheim Ducks in 2006.
