>Offered here is an old & original 1962 NCAA Men's Track & Field Championships program plus '62 full/unused ticket to these championships, plus '62 Oregon vs. Stanford dual meet official's pass!! Please see all ten photos, as they are an important part of my description. All three pieces of track and field memorabilia from the 1962 season are pictured in my first photo. This track and field program contains thirty-six numbered pages, and includes event entries and many athlete photographs. This track and field championships event took place here in Eugene, Oregon at historic Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus on June 15-16, 1962. <>This is a historic track program as the Oregon Ducks won their very first NCAA Men's Track and Field Outdoor Championships, thrilling the hometown fans here in Eugene!! The back cover features the "scorecard" for meet attendee to utilize, which is unmarked except for a "6" near the San Jose State entry. The accompanying full ticket is dated June 15. The 1962-dated Track & Field Hayward Field Official's Pass (thick cardboard) was for the Oregon Ducks versus Stanford Indians dual meet.

<>A Bit of HISTORY: there are many outstanding athlete photographs for those who participated in these college championships, to include: 3-mile champ Pat Clohessy (Houston Cougars), pole vault champ Dexter Elkins (SMU Mustangs), broad jump/long jump winner Anthony Watson (Oklahoma Sooners), as he defeated both Paul Warfield (Ohio State Buckeyes and future Miami Dolphins wide receiver) and Mel Renfro (Oregon Ducks and future star for the Dallas Cowboys), shot-put champ Dallas Long (USC Trojans), mile champion Dyrol Burleson (Oregon Ducks), 2nd placer Harry Jerome (Oregon) in the 100-yard dash, 120-yard high hurdles champ Jerry Tarr (Oregon), 220-yard champion Harry Jerome (Homer Jones is pictured for Texas Southern), and Villanova Wildcats steeplechase winner Pat Traynor.

<>Condition: the program's centerfold pages (p. 15-22) have come loose from the binding staples due to the binding staples showing tarnish/rust. However, the program's spine remains solid with no splitting! The meet's attendee entered names (in pencil) on the hammer throw page. There are no missing pages, unsightly creases or cut-outs present! The full/unused ticket shows a pair of staple holes present, with no creasing! The official's pass shows no creasing as well! Please check my eBay feedback and Bid With Confidence - I have Happy Customers with 1,000's of items sold! >Please Read BEFORE Bidding (you may be at a disadvantage if you don't):  >Will ship via USPS *First-Class* with tracking and Postage-Paid in the USA. >>Sorry: NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. I do offer honest descriptions, friendly service and quick shipping. Have a question? Don't hesitate to contact me as I am a "Buyer-Friendly" seller!  And, please check out my Ebay Store for more classic collectibles and oLdE sTuFf!!).
