This set of gauges was designed for a new type R1234yf automotive refrigerant that was introduced into the automotive industry in 2018. With this set you will be able to diagnose, refill, fill-up or recover refrigerant from R1234yf type air conditioning system. The service valve adapters that are included in this kit are specifically designed to fit the new R1234yf service valves that are very different from R134a service valves. The rest of the hoses and connectors are standard 1/4 SAE thread that works with most air conditioning accessories like HVAC vacuum pumps and refrigerant recovery machines.
