The R. Blackinton company was founded by Walter Ballou and Roswell Blackinton in North Attleboro, MA in 1862. This piece is marked Sterling 6344 along with and "R B CO" trademark, with a sword going through the "B". This trademark was used until 1900, dating this piece 1900 or even earlier.

Measures approx. 3" x 2"

A rare nice piece of history to add to your collection.

Excellent condition with some dents on back-consistent with use and age.
