The endeavor has raised tens of thousands of dollars for national and international nonprofits such as the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre, The Salvation Army, The Navy League of the United States, and many more.
About the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre
Metropolitan Ballet Theatre (MBT) was founded in 1988 with a commitment to nurturing young people through its mission of ?Excellence in Dance, Lifelong Values.? MBT?s Founder and Artistic Director, Ms. Maniya Barredo, a prima ballerina with an illustrious career in elite ballet companies worldwide, has evolved a dedicated approach to teaching the art of classical ballet and shaping young lives.
As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, MBT offers training in classical ballet, modern, and contemporary dance to students ages 8?18. Since its inception, MBT has been home to hundreds of young dancers, many of whom have continued in professional careers in dance and have grown in physical strength and spirit.
