Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Michael Jepkes' after own design. Michael Jepkes (Amsterdam 1938-) is a Dutch painter, graphic artist and draughtsman. He studied with Joseph Verheyen, Henk Koekkoek and Maarten Krabbe, at the Instituut Hendriks (Haarlem) and the Academie (Tilburg). Besides painting and drawing, he works in drypoint, colour etching and mezzotint. While his work is mainly figurative, he manipulates reality. His work is usually made as part of a series.

Subject: Antique print, titled: 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.' - Dreamy scene of a girl playing piano. A feather emerges from the piano, seemingly carrying both piano and girl over a night city landscape. Some faint figures in the lower edge of the image.
Condition: Excellent, given age. Thumbing in all four margin corners (not nearly affecting image). Tape remains from attachment to carrier to the rear of the sheet. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
