How to Grow Grape From Seeds - How to Do it

If you want to know how to grow grapes from seeds then there is one thing that is very important. I'm talking about the cold temperature treatment that every grape seed needs in order to sprout.

This is fairly easy if you follow this process:

1. Extract the seeds from the grape berries.
2. Place them on a watered paper towel, or peat moss.
3. Place them inside your refrigerator for 2 - 3 months. The temperature should be 1 - 3 degrees Celsius or 35 - 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Be sure that the paper is moist throughout the entire time.

After 2 - 3 months you should plant the seeds in seed pots with seed soil that is pretty poor on nutrients. Place the seed pots where it receives light, but not in direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist but not to wet. Also, the temperature must be around 20 degrees Celsius during day (68 degrees Fahrenheit), and not below 15 degrees during night.

After 7 - 14 days the seeds should have germinated. Once the seedlings have grown to about 5 cm, then it's time to replant it to a bigger pot with soil that has more nutrition.

You should have the seeds grow indoors for about 12 months before you begin planting them outside
