From the archives of photographer Tom West is this 8 x 10 photo of Jackie Stewart driving his # 5 elf Tyrrell-Ford during Saturday mornings' quailifing secession on October 6th, at the 1973 US Grand Prix at Watkins Glen. Stewart quailified in the sixth position but team Tyrrell bowed out of the race due to the crash and death of teamate Franscois Cevert in the morning quailifing secession. This high quality, chemically developed print was scanned from the original 2 1/4 x 2 1/4  Kodak color transparency in high resolution and printed in a high- glossy finish on Fuji Crystal Archive paper by a professional lab.
