Chiho Saito
Born June 29, is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator. Born in Tokyo. Female. She is a Crab and her blood type is B.
In 1982, she made her debut with "Ken to Mademoiselle" published in the spring issue of "Coronet" (Shogakukan). After that, her works were published in "Shoujo Comic", "Petit Comic", and other magazines. She gained popularity with "Enbu Kyoku wa Shiroi Dress de" (Round Dance in White Dress), "Motoi no Marionette" (Another Marionette), and "Hanakawane no Madonna" (Madonna with Flower Crown), among others. Her works range from historical romances reminiscent of the Takarazuka Revue, to romantic comedies, ladies' and children's stories.
He is such a Takarazuka fan that he originally applied to join the Takarazuka Revue, and has had a close relationship with the company since then, drawing posters for the 1996 performance of "Cesare Borgia," and serializing cartoons ("Tenshi no Smile, Akuma no Tears," "Valencia no Hot Hana" and "Silver Wolf") in the magazine "Takarazuka GRAPH" from 1998 to 1999. In 1997, Kunihiko Ikuhara was appointed as the first director of the Takarazuka Takarazuka Theater.
In 1997, he worked with director Kunihiko Ikuhara on the animated TV series "Utena: Revolutionary Girl", and in 1999, he participated in the film version of the same series, and also wrote comics for both.
