These nibs are made from STEEL,  they are MEDIUM nibs, have hand ground tips, and are flexible, THEY are square shaped, but were made like that to hold a lot of ink, they have fine tips, and write or draw fine lines, yes, they are flexible, they are new unused, a couple may have a few marks from age, R. ESTERBROOK. has a fine tip and is FLEXIBLE. 

these nibs are great to use, a nice nib to write or draw with, they are FLEXIBLE, depending on your pressure. good for any surface. I have listed a number of Pen nibs, all different, so please try them for yourself, as each person has different grips, angles to paper etc. etc. this does affect the nib and how well it will work for you personally, so it is a good idea to keep notes always on your trials, paper or surface you are writing on, the nib used, ink or medium being used all will change how a nib performs. Suitable for calligraphy, journaling, scrapbooking, and more.
