Box lists the color as goldenrod.  I would say it is bright yellow with a bright orange lid.

Cooler was still in the original box and in very nice clean shape.  Something is in the lid

that makes a noise when it is opened, perhaps a small piece of plastic got in there during

the manufacturing process??  Please note that in the interior corner there is a bulge in the

plastic, possibly from being stored in a hot garage.  I have marked the area in the photo.  

It is not soft or flexible so it should not cause any harm when using but I wanted to make

sure and point it out.

This cooler would make a great display item for a vintage camper or automobile.
