JAWS movie juniors lrg 1975 retro shark tie-dye T-shirt Spielberg poster-art
This is a previously-owned, juniors-large (L), light-blue, tie-dyed T-shirt with “Jaws” printed on the front in psychedelic dayglo lettering. It measures approximately 17 inches from neckline to bottom, about 23 inches from back collar to bottom, and is in great condition (Universal brand, 50% cotton / 50% polyester).
“Jaws” is a 1975 thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg and based on Peter Benchley's novel of the same name. It follows the police chief of Amity Island, a fictional summer resort town, as he tries to protect beachgoers from a giant man-eating great white shark. It stars Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, Robert Shaw, Murray Hamilton, and Lorraine Gary. Of note, “Jaws” is regarded as a watershed film in motion picture history, the father of the summer blockbuster film and one of the first "high concept" films.
