A most PRESTIGIOUS, early 20th century HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER medallion on original grosgrain blue ribbon. Presented to the DUX BOY of the MEIGLE SCHOOL, Strathmore, Perthshire in Scotland.
Marked 1902 and presented by Lady Campbell-Bannerman who was the wife of the British Prime Minister: Henry Campbell-Bannerman. 

Heavy gauge solid silver with HALLMARKS indicating: STERLING SILVER; assayed in EDINBURGH, maker HAMILTON & INCHES, date letter for 1902.

Recognised for the quality of their workmanship by Queen Victoria, they obtained a Royal Warrant in 1893.

VERY GOOD - near perfect condition.
NO CRACKS; NO REPAIRS; NO scratches; NO DINGS.
I have not attempted to clean the silver, instead leave that to the discretion of the new owner.

Measures c.5cm (2")  cm diameter.

Weighs a solid 37 grams (1.2 troy oz) before packing.
