a superb quality, AUSTRALIAN 4 piece lidded COFFEE SET that includes the coffee pot; hot water pot; sugar & creamer.
The spoon has been added and is not Lewbury but is included for free.
This delightful, dramatically designed ART DECO set was manufactured by the Melbourne based firm of TILBURY & LEWIS (trademark: LEWBURY), plated with silver over a nickel metal base (E.P.N.S))
The styling and backstamp indicate a production of around 1940.
Excellent original condition.Seems to have had very little use. VERY clean
inside and all fittings are strong and work perfectly.
NO DINGS - other than the VERY TINY 2 in pic #7 ; NO SCRATCHES; NO REPAIRS.
Silverplating is BRIGHT & SHINY.
Coffee Pot measures c. 20 cm high x 23 cm (max) wide.
This beautiful set weighs c.1.7 kilo before very careful packing.
