These are original hand-painted animation cels and/or drawings used in the actual production of the cartoon. Cels (short for celluloids) are the fundamental building blocks behind all traditional animated film entertainment. A production drawing is the initial pencil artwork that is used to create the cel. The fluid motion portrayed in an animation film is the result of thousands of individual paintings and drawings. Several hundred such cels and drawings are required for a single minute of animated film. Each cel and drawing is a unique work of art, and each piece bears a seal of authenticity , establishing it as an actual production element as opposed to a repainted rendering or reproduction. 

The cels are approximately 9 inches by 10 inches and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from 1991.
