Description: It is an authentic Antique Map approximately 160 years old with original hand coloring and a centerfold as issued. It is by Delamarche from his Atlas de Geographie Physique, Politique, et Historique" published in Paris, 1858. The map is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pics.
Size: The map image measures approximately 11 1/2 by 17 inches (29x43cm) on a 13x19" page (34x48cm) with a margin all around as seen in the pic.
Condition: It is in Good condition for its age, basically as seen in the pics, blank on the reverse, with original hand coloring and a centerfold as issued, the paper is still very good and flexible, not brittle. There is general wear around the edges, a two inch split at the bottom of the centerfold, a couple of slightly bent corners, faint light marks near the bottom and a purple stain in the bottom right corner margin, otherwise the map area is very clean with strong color and a nice antique appearance that would frame up well, see the detail pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual map.
