These tall, purple blossoms are a garden essential. The "night-scented stock" gets its name from the fact that it smells best at night when the sun sets. For the best enjoyment of its lovely smell on long summer evenings, plant close to your gathering areas.
Growing instructions:
Sow the Night Scented Stock seeds from March to June. Directly sow seeds in a prepared seedbed outside. Sow the seeds in rows that are 25 to 30 cm apart. Add 0.5 cm (1/4 in) of fine soil over the seeds and water plants thoroughly especially during warm summer days. Night Scented Stock seeds flower from June through to late September.
