This is an antique Salter is made in 1880s in England. Possible makers Davidson's,Sowerby or Abraham's.
It is made of Purple and White Malachite or Slag Glass.
It measures approx 3.25" at its widest with each side measuring approx 1.75 inches and is a hexagon shape. The underside is shell like.
There are no chips or cracks and surface is not scratched.

A pressed glass piece made of opaque slag glass, purple with white streaks, in clumps with lines between them. The shape is asix sided (hexagon) with round beads around the corners that extend past their intersection to form pegs at the corners and the six feet

The purple became lighter as the years went on so I believe this is dated as an earlier piece going by the colour.
