This Mounting plate replaces the aluminum clip on Mounting plate that came with your Wired Google Nest Hello Video Doorbell.

Once the doorbell is clipped on it is hard to get back off of the mounting plate. So please mount the plate to the wall before you clip your Wired Google Nest Hello to the mounting plate.

Wires need to be dressed properly behind the mounting plate! The mounting plate is not designed to hold wires. IF THEY ARE NOT DRESSED PROPERLY THE MOUNTING PLATE WILL POP OFF.
