  • My Names: Spoiled Little Blue Boy
  • My Story for this specific one: He doesn't properly sit in a bench or does he stand, nope he has to sit on his luggage like he's special or something. He likes to ride his pony. He's special because he's the only little one in the village. He gives off an arrogant atmosphere. He is the grandson of the richest old man in town, Mr. Right. He was going to get all of the money and he still wasn't happy. All of my friends and myself had another name for him, which wasn't nice. If you look at all of the other characters he was sort of an outcast; if you look at all of the others townsfolk I think it's because he is sitting. He also has a natural unhappiness about him, especially when it wants attention and is staged as a runaway. Visitors to the Village would be sad for him, then I would say why wanted to be a Hobo, it's because he wanted the black horse too and his parents only got him the brown.
  • Please note that this is a standing figure because he has a stand. A seated figure would be able to sit on a bench at a station or in a seat on a passenger coach car.
  • The bench in the pictures is NOT included and only for perspective to help with what the character looks like.
  • I am the original first retail owner of this figurine and acquired it many, many years ago between 1973 and 1993.
  • Unique Pictures of the actual item available in this listing. - Bench is not include only the figure. Bench is for perspective.

  • Bench or Track or Other Accessories used in pictures NOT included!

To me LGB and Indoor/Outdoor  Garden Railways was about fun, action, imagination, culture, & history.  I had a mixed line layout with roads & cultures from around the world.  I didn't do this on purpose, only that at the time it was difficult to get any one specific line or time period.  This acutally ended up being a good thing because I knew about far away places, their history and the roles the rails played.

This item comes from my personal collection & accumulation that I started acquiring  when I was very, very young in 1973-1974.   When it comes to figurines and town village people from Lehman the date range is 1973 to 1993.  Non-Lehman figures and Christmas accessories & whimsy can also be outside this date range.   They came without names, allowing the end-user to do their own personification.  No sold script written by a toy story designer, only the physical plastic design was personified.  Yet, each one does have its own story to tell as made up by me.  These stories changed on whim. Some of the stories were kept and retold many times, becoming legendary in my imagination.
Many of them I had in duplicate or triplicate so at the same time they would have two different names, personalities, and functions at the same time.  I have included some of their names that I created when I was a child from about age 7 to 16.  Names, stories, functions are fictional and any relationship to humans living or dead or fictional is just a coincidence.  Please rename them when added to your collection for they get a new home, a new name, a new start on life.  Have some fun!

They were originally Made in Western Germany (Federal Republic of Germany - Bundesrepublik Deutschland)

Back in the day the G slang in G-scale wasn't for Gross (big) or Garten (garden) but for German language. When I started we could only get European-style designs, so it seemed like ages before we could get any American-styles.   It was very difficult to get anything.    All the first literature was in German, then it started coming out in British English.   It took a long time to get any American English information.   When I talked to the very sparse other LGB/G-Scale railroaders, they were all a bunch of really old men, so old that some even had facial hair!   It would take me a week to set my layout up indoors and remarkably only 4 hours to put it away in its original boxes.

This is an LGB related item:  LGB is a German-language acronym for Lehman Gross Bahn or in English, Lehman Big Railway.  Lehman toys started in late 1800's and was well known around the world for their tin toys.  They introduced the trains in very late 1960's from West Germany.  When it comes to the G-Scale not everything is in true proportion.   I have always viewed it as the point to inspire the artistic and whimsical aspects of model railroading.
