The International Student Folklore Festival is one of the
most spectacular university cultural events with almost thirty years of
tradition in the region, the only one with such a profile in Europe - it
combines the spontaneity of young people with the prestige of a university. It
also fulfills - thanks to its colorful, open formula and close contact with the
audience - a huge promotional role for the region, universities and other
institutions participating in the creation of this unique project. This
year, the Festival events with the participation of bands from, among others,
Algeria, Slovakia, Turkey, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Serbia, Germany and Poland will
take place in Cieszyn, Chorzów, Katowice, Brenna, Ustroń, Tychy and Jaworze.among
