Fiat 500, Fiat Panda, Ford KA Clutch Pipe Repair Kit + Instructions

The clutch hydraulics in the Fiat 500, Fiat Panda and Ford Ka are a common failure, usually due to breakage at the aluminium connector in the pipework between the master and slave cylinders. After only a few years exposure to road dirt and the atmosphere the connector can corrode and split, causing a fluid leak and loss of the clutch and making the car undriveable.

This listing is for a quality repair kit to replace the failed connector, using the best materials on the market which will not rust or deteriorate over time. The kit comprises the correct size Chrome-plated metal compression coupler (including anti-leak olives), protective pipe inserts, and amalgamating tape to seal and protect the whole installation. We also provide a set of printed instructions with photos, to guide you through removing the old connector and fitting the new.

The completed repair is well engineered, strong and protected from future deterioration by a rubberised seal and the use of corrosion resistant materials.

You will need some small spanners and a sharp craft knife. We rate this as a simple repair in terms of accessibility and complexity for someone with reasonably competent mechanical skills who is happy to work with clutch hydraulics.

To complete the repair you will need DOT4 clutch fluid to replace any which is lost during the repair, and a brake/clutch bleeder (or just a clear plastic pipe, a jam jar, and an assistant).
