Hi, happy to say I have a pretty large quantity of salvaged Original 1950’s-Early 1960’s Romany Spartan Beveled Pink Wall Tiles.  

These were sold as Vari-Tiles.

The color is Coral Pink #730 catalog is from 1959, tiles were salvaged from a house built in 1960.

These particular tiles have the marks that belong to The United States Quarry Tile Co., the Romany Spartan line was also made by The United States Ceramic Tile Co., then toss Spartan Tile Co. into the mix, they merged or were acquired at some point, all in Ohio.  

Pics of single tiles are mine, the installation pics are just attached for examples (not mine).  These were often used as accent tiles or as well a single row as trim.  Some entire bathrooms or backsplashes were done in this type of tile, or one wall of a shower.  These scream Mid-Century ! 

I have peach, light blue, pink, light grey and light yellow beveled 1/2” x 6” liners in this Line being sold separately. (Referred to as Vari-Strips in 1959 catalog.)

I also have some box caps in storage in several colors that are made by same company.
