Description: From a high quality colour printed set of 24 golf prints: "The rules of golf illustrated by Charles Crombie", with text in both English and French. Online resources tell us this set was probably printed by Yves Meyers & Cie in Paris, ca. 1906. This is not a recent copy! These prints are similar in size as the original lithographs in "The Rules of Golf". All prints have a blind stamp (embossing) saying: 'Offert par la source Perrier'.
Artists and Engravers: Artist: Charles Crombie (1885-1967): Unfortunately, very little is recorded about Crombie's life, although his style is typical of the leading cartoonists of the early twentieth century and is still immensely popular today.
